A.J. Agarwal

Biographie: A.J. Agarwal is a Senior Managing Director in Blackstone’s Real Estate Group. Mr. Agarwal leads Blackstone’s U.S. Core+ real estate business with over $30 billion of equity under management; and is a member of Blackstone’s Real Estate Investment Committee. Prior to launching Blackstone’s Core+ real estate business in 2014, Mr. Agarwal was Co-Head of U.S. Acquisitions for Blackstone’s opportunistic real estate funds and oversaw more than $50 billion of real estate investments across all asset classes. Mr. Agarwal is also the President and a Director on the Board of Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust, a non-listed Blackstone-managed REIT with approximately $40 billion of assets under management, and a member of the investment committee for Blackstone Total Alternatives Solution. Mr. Agarwal joined Blackstone in 1992. Mr. Agarwal graduated from Princeton University, where he graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and received his MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Mr. Agarwal is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
