John Bela

Biographie: I am a landscape architect and urban designer passionate about creating places for the common good. I have over a decade of experience leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex, award-winning public realm strategy and public spaces at a variety of scales. I truly enjoy working in collaboration with communities, municipalities, and private sector partners to raise our collective level of ambition to enable diverse, equitable, and resilient neighborhoods. I am comfortable leading user experience and ethnographic research and applying social science research and spatial data to inform strategic planning and project evaluation. I possess excellent leadership, facilitation, collaboration, public speaking, and communication skills; and have years of experience working with community leaders, agency staff, elected officials, and the media to promote and implement places for people.
