Feb.08 FRANK J. CARMEL, Esq. Frank J. Carmel is the senior attorney in the boutique law firm CARMEL & CARMEL PC based in Washington, DC. A renowned real estate and emerging technology lawyer, Mr. Carmel represents an international list of real estate developers, marketing and consulting firms, financial institutions and emerging technology companies. A 1979 graduate of the University of Virginia - School of Law, Mr. Carmel received an economics degree with Highest Honors and Distinction from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Mr. Carmel has developed an international reputation for his work in the land development and resort industries. Born in Hampton Virginia, Mr. Carmel has lived and maintained a business in Washington DC since law school. Mr. Carmel is an expert in the regulatory aspects of U.S. and foreign resort real estate development and in the structuring and documentation of all aspects of business transactions and structural documentation involving the development, financing and marketing of resort real estate projects including master PUD's, golf resorts, retirement communities, condo-hotels, timesharing and other hybrid forms of real estate. This practice has reached projects or regulatory considerations in most U.S. states, Canada, Mexico and abroad.
