Lisa Diaz
Biographie: I have a background in Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Injury and Violence Prevention Epidemiology, that I have applied to my work in transportation safety and the relationship between health and the built environment. I have been a member of ULI since 2014 and have participated in several ULI workshops in Denver supporting the Building Healthy Corridors Initiative. My most recently job was at Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure as the Safe Routes to School Administrator, encouraging and facilitating safe, active transportation to and from school. I also served on the Mayor’s Pedestrian Advisory Committee for five years in Denver. Currently, as a retiree, I Chair the Downtown Bernardsville Main Street Design Committee, working with a great team on projects centered around historical storytelling, placemaking and other projects that support the economic vitality of downtown Bernardsville. Originally from Milwaukee, WI, I will always be a devoted “cheese head” Packer fan no matter where I live.
