Ibi Guevara

Biographie: Ibi Guevara is a parter and the Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Hunt Electric, where she has been instrumental in driving the company’s consistent growth over the past 19 years. Ibi’s passion for cultivating mutually beneficial relationships based on taking the initiative to give support and assistance to those who need it has played a significant part in her contributions to Hunt Electric’s growth. Her customers experience the same attitude of service. Ibi listens carefully to customers to understand their objectives. This critical step helps her offer customized solutions and build teams specially created to meet customers’ most essential needs. One of the most rewarding parts of building relationships for Ibi is to watch clients, colleagues, and her team members grow and thrive due to her investment in their success. Ibi inspires others to meet their full potential and work hard to fulfill an ambitious and exciting vision. She has deployed this leadership style to accelerate her team’s growth and enhance its performance as chair of the ULI (Urban Land Institute) Board, a member of Hunt’s executive team, and head of Hunt’s marketing department. Ibi has a talent for wearing many hats, and this has been a theme throughout her career. She is a member of the ULI Utah management board, EDCUtah Advisory Board, Truss C Level group, snd Utah Alliance of Economic Development. She currently serves as governance chair of the ULI Utah District. Ibi’s work is infused with her unrelenting desire to be the best at whatever she does, and it has led her to be included in Utah Business Magazine’s “30 Women to Watch” in 2010 and “Forty under 40” in 2016. Ibi was named Salesperson of the Year by the Association of General Contractors Utah in 2009, SMPS Utah Marketer of the Year in 2010, and Wasatch Women Business honoree in 2011. Ibi credits her success to her hard work and the people she has met and collaborated with during her career. Ibi holds an MBA in Business Administration and Marketing and a Law degree from Dimitrie Cantemir University Romania.
