James Granbery

Biographie: James W. Granbery (Jimmy) Chairman/CEO H.G. Hill Realty, LLC A Nashville native, Jimmy graduated from Hillwood High School in 1975 and from the University of Mississippi in 1979, where he earned a BBA degree in marketing. He joined the H.G. Hill Stores as a management trainee in 1979 before transferring to H.G. Hill Realty in 1981. He was named Vice President of Development in 1993 and CEO in 2002, (Fourth in history of Company). Jimmy is a member of ICSC, NAOIP and served as Chair of ULI, Nashville District from 2014-2017. He also served on the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency Board of Commissioners from 2011-2018. His vast community involvement includes the Nashville Zoo Board, the Board of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee, where he was chair from 2015-2017, and the Martin Methodist College Board as vice chair. Most recently, Governor Lee appointed Granbery to a six-year term on the Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission. Jimmy and his wife, Jamie, are the parents of a daughter, Marion, (2003 Harpeth Hall graduate and 2007 Wake Forest graduate) and a son, Treanor, (2007 MBA graduate and 2011 University of Mississippi graduate). Marion is married to Adam Floyd of Nashville and proud parents to James Franklin and Helen Nichols Floyd (sixth generation).
