Richard Mann
Biographie: Richard Mann is founding principal of FD Stonewater charged with strategic and transactional leadership for many of the firm’s development and investment projects. In this regard, he is active along the multiple platforms of FD Stonewater which enables him to have a comprehensive viewpoint on most all company projects. His vast experience is utilized in a wide range of capacities, including federal government related development, leasing and investment for both third-party and principal-sponsored projects. Richard is highly involved in the structuring, acquisition and capitalization of many of the firm’s development projects including those involving government, student housing, logistics and corporate real estate tenancies. In the federal sphere, Richard is a recognized leader in the federal government real estate arena from a development, brokerage/consulting and investment basis. Richard has successfully completed over 450 transactions totaling over 20 million square feet throughout the country. Many of Richard’s past projects have involved new, secure construction to house members of the intelligence community, Department of Homeland Security and Department of Defense. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE National Director, Jones Lang LaSalle, Government Investor Services, Washington, DC and Spaulding & Slye 1999-2009 Richard was a national director with the Government Investor Services group in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Washington, DC office who acquired his previous company Spaulding & Slye in 2005.
