Summer 2007 GOLDMAN SACHS New York, NY Investment Banking Intern, Real Estate 2002-2006 JACOBS ASSOCIATES Project Engineer Melbourne, Australia • Led nine person team on a $140 million, 5.5-mile-long tunnel project throughout the construction lifecycle, from early conceptual stage to the detailed design phase. • Presented final detailed design recommendations to the client’s board of directors and was granted approval to take project into construction phase. • Allocated segments of the technical work to be completed by engineering team in the US, and directed Australian team to implement these into the final comprehensive design. • Negotiated with client and collaborated with alliance team to win second stage of the tunnel project in Melbourne, worth an additional $150 million. • Influenced client’s decision to integrate Geotechnical Baseline into Contract Documents used for bidding on construction of tunnel projects; promoting this approach into the Australian market. Engineer San Diego, CA • Oversaw construction of temporary excavation support for 25-story residential high-rise, and liaised between sub-contractor, general contractor, and owner’s rep to complete on schedule. • Led team of tunnel inspectors and supervised safety and quality of work performed by construction crew throughout construction phase for pipeline underneath Interstate-5. • Involved in two-man team responsible for overseeing the development and submission of Construction Documents for a $180 million, 12-mile-long water conveyance tunnel project. • Produced Risk Management Report for a $5 million tunnel project, which was implemented successfully throughout construction to achieve on-time completion of the tunnel. • Created model to standardize design of structural stability for 3 major wine caves in Napa Valley, California; substantially reducing the time required for permitting and approval process Directorio de miembros  Arrow
