Biografía:
Brad W. Beelaert is a Principal of WHI Real Estate Partners LLC (“WHIREP”), a real estate private equity fund sponsor affiliated with William Harris Investors, Inc. (WHI), a Chicago‐based family office and private asset management firm with approximately $1.1 billion of assets under management (as of December 31, 2011). WHIREP sponsors a series of private equity funds formed to make opportunistic investments in commercial real estate equity and debt throughout the United States, both directly as well as through joint ventures with local operating partners. Mr. Beelaert currently leads WHIREP’s overall asset management function, in addition to playing a key role in sourcing, underwriting and executing new investments. As one of the group’s original Principals, Mr. Beelaert has had wide-ranging responsibilities since formation of the firm’s predecessor in 2007. He has played key roles not only in WHIREP’s investment activities, but also in the structuring, marketing and launch of the group’s funds, as well as development and oversight of its operations and reporting infrastructure. Previously, Mr. Beelaert was a Vice President of Brownfield Renaissance Partners LLC, and prior to that a Vice President of JPMorgan Chase & Co. subsidiary Security Capital Research & Management Inc. (“Security Capital”) in Chicago, where from 2002 to 2007 he focused principally on the structuring and evaluation of privately-negotiated equity investments in real estate operating companies. In this role, Mr. Beelaert evaluated over $3.6 billion of private investment opportunities on behalf of Security Capital Preferred Growth Incorporated, a $2 billion opportunistic investment vehicle. Prior to joining Security Capital, he was a Senior Associate in the Chicago office of Standard & Poor’s Corporate Value Consulting, formerly a division of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. At Standard & Poor’s, Mr. Beelaert advised clients in a wide range of industries on valuation-related matters in connection with mergers and acquisitions, litigation and tax-related concerns. Mr. Beelaert holds a B.S., magna cum laude, in Finance and Accounting from Indiana University. He resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife and three children. Directorio de miembros  Arrow
