Maureen Boyer

Biografía: Maureen has recently joined AECOM as the Director of Architecture and a leader in the San Francisco Buildings + Places Team. Prior to joining AECOM, Maureen was an Associate Principal with ELS Architects in Berkeley, CA. Maureen has more than 30 years of professional experience and has worked internationally on a variety of commercial projects. For over 18 years, Maureen was a firm-wide leader at Gensler, where she cofounded the retail center practice area and focused on retail-anchored mixed-use environments and retail projects. Her clients have included Westfield, Wilson Meany Sullivan, Carrefour, Apple, Forever 21, and others. She spent the four years prior to joining ELS in early 2017 codirecting Gensler’s São Paulo office in Brazil. The San Francisco Business Times named Maureen one of the Northern California Real Estate Women of Influence in 2013. She is a registered architect in California and a co-chair of the Urban Land Institute Retail Development Council Platinum, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and San Francisco Architectural Heritage. She received her bachelor of arts in architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.
