Tarik Bateh

Biografía: Mr. Bateh is a Senior Director with JLL Capital Markets, where he focuses on debt and equity placement, investment sales, and advisory projects throughout Florida and nationally. Mr. Bateh has over 14 years of experience in real estate transactions, development, operations, and law as an intermediary, principal, and attorney encompassing over $2 billion in capital investment across all major property types including retail, multifamily, hospitality, office, and mixed-use. Prior to joining JLL, Mr. Bateh operated a boutique capital advisory firm, Bateh Real Estate Advisors, focused on helping real estate owners source and structure senior and subordinate capital. Mr. Bateh also served as Senior Director with an affiliate of Hardin Construction Company in Atlanta where he held primary executional responsibility for all transactions and asset management. Prior to Hardin, Mr. Bateh was Director of Project Development with Barry Real Estate Companies in Atlanta. Mr. Bateh began his career as an attorney with Rogers Towers, P.A. in Jacksonville, Florida specializing in land use, government relations, and real estate. Mr. Bateh received both a Juris Doctor, cum laude, and a Master of Science in Business Administration – Real Estate, from the University of Florida. Mr. Bateh also received a Bachelor of Science with Special Attainments in Commerce from Washington and Lee University. Mr. Bateh is actively involved with the Urban Land Institute (ULI) at both the national and local levels, serving as a Full Member of the Commercial & Retail Development Council (Platinum Flight) and as District Council Chair for ULI North Florida. A member of the Florida Bar Association and a Licensed Florida Real Estate Broker, Mr. Bateh has been named as a “40 Under 40” leader by the Jacksonville Business Journal and Member of the Year by ULI North Florida. Mr. Bateh also volunteers as a mentor to students in the University of Florida’s graduate real estate program and Washington & Lee University’s Commerce School, and serves on the Finance Council for Assumption Catholic Church.
