Estate of James Curtis
Biografía: James J. Curtis III is a Managing Partner and a founder of Bristol Group, Inc. Founded in 1980, Bristol Group is a leading investor, developer, and operator of industrial properties with a successful history in a wide variety of innovative real estate related value-add opportunities. A Trustee of the Urban Land Institute since 1996, Mr. Curtis currently serves as its Vice-Chairman and as Chairman of the ULI Foundation. He has received the Counselor of Real Estate’s Landauer/White Lifetime Achievement Award and the University of Wisconsin’s Graaskamp Distinguished Alumni Award. Mr. Curtis is a lifetime member of the University of Wisconsin’s Graaskamp Center for Real Estate. In 2006 the ULI/Curtis Regional Infrastructure Initiative was initiated through the support of Mr. Curtis. The purpose of the Initiative is to help promote innovative infrastructure choices and outcome-oriented solutions to create best of class neighborhoods, communities and regions. Mr. Curtis holds an M.S. degree in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin and a B.S. in Finance and Economics from Marquette University.
