Allen Freeman

Biografía: As Chief Operating Officer, Allen Freeman leads all JSM predevelopment, land acquisition, and real estate finance activities. Under Mr. Freeman’s direction, JSM has obtained entitlements for over 1,000 units in Santa Monica and North Hollywood and has closed over $500 million in construction, bridge, and permanent financing. Mr. Freeman joined JSM Construction in May 2003. Allen Freeman, holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated in May 2004. While at Haas, Allen focused on real estate development and finance. Prior to attending Haas, Allen was a management consultant for Accenture Ltd. and Xelus Corporation in Paris, France and Santa Monica, CA respectively. Prior to joining JSM, Mr. Freeman served as Vice-President of the Berkeley Real Estate Club, participated on the Cal Bank of America Low-Income Housing Challenge Team, and was awarded scholarships from the California Association of Realtors, the Society of Office and Industrial Realtors, and the Pension Real Estate Association. In 2003, he helped found and served on the board of a Smart Growth community group, Livable Berkeley. In 2005, Mr. Freeman helped found Grow Smart Santa Monica, a Smart Growth community group in Santa Monica. Mr. Freeman is currently a member of the Mid-Town North Hollywood Neighborhood Council, North Hollywood Business Improvement District Steering Committee, and the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce General Plan Task Force.
