Mike Grisso
Biografía: Mike Grisso is a Senior Vice President at Kilroy Realty Corporation (KRC), a developer and operator of high-quality commercial properties on the West Coast for more than 70 years. Mike leads KRC’s planning and entitlement efforts in San Francisco, including The Flower Mart, an approved 2.5-million-square-foot, mixed-use development in the South of Market that will include Class A office space and a new, 115,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art wholesale flower market. The Flower Mart is the largest office project ever approved in San Francisco, located in the rapidly-growing South of Market neighborhood, and will create new, creative office space in the city’s center while at the same time preserving and enhancing the existing San Francisco Wholesale Flower Market. Mike also manages KRC's planning work in South San Francisco on Kilroy Oyster Point, a five-phase, 3-million-square-foot, mixed use development. Prior to joining KRC in July 2014, Mike was a Senior Project Manager at the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency (SFRA). At SFRA, he led the planning and implementation of the Transbay Redevelopment Project, which involved serving as the lead negotiator on a variety of complex real estate and public/private development transactions, including more than $400 million in land dispositions. Prior to joining SFRA in 2002, Mike was a Director at CB Richard Ellis, a global real estate services firm, in San Francisco. From 1994-1998, Mike worked as a social studies teacher at Thurgood Marshall Academy, a public school serving Grades 7-12 in Harlem in New York City. Mike earned a Master of Public Policy and Urban Planning degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Mike also has a Master of Arts in Teaching Social Studies from Teachers College at Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with Highest Honors from the University of California at Los Angeles.
