Tahereh GranpayehVaghei

Biografía: As a senior land economist at the Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Tahereh applies her PhD in Urban Planning and Public Policy to support the development of provincial plans, policies, and programs. She has a deep understanding of Ontario’s planning system as well as municipal development approvals and permit processes. She is also experienced leading multinational research teams and conducting rigorous data analysis. Before joining the Ministry, Tahereh was a manager, land development and infrastructure at StrategyCorp, where she helped clients develop effective strategies for sustainable growth and development. She is passionate about urban planning and public policy, and is dedicated to making a positive impact on the communities she serves. She is a skilled facilitator and communicator, with expertise in economic development, community engagement, public participation, and stakeholder relations. She also holds an MSc in Urban Regeneration from UCL, and has received multiple scholarships and certifications for her academic and professional achievements.
