01/2010 ROBERT J. HOLMES – BIO Since 2005, Robert J. Holmes has served as Founder and Manager of THG, LLC, a real estate advisory firm. In this role, Robert has worked with numerous local and national firms on various real estate activities, ranging from project sales and land acquisitions to business planning and strategic development. At the start of 2005, Robert joined forces with Portland, Oregon based ScanlanKemperBard Companies (SKB) as senior advisor in charge of identifying investment opportunities and new investors in the Puget Sound area and throughout the West. SKB is a real estate merchant-banking firm. From 1994 to 2005, he served as President and CEO of Harbor Properties, Inc., a full-service real estate development and property management company with properties in downtown Seattle, and as President and Manager of Harbor Mountain Company, which owns and manages two resort areas in Washington state and Idaho. In the decade before he joined Harbor Properties, Robert was President, CEO and then Chairman of Intrawest USA. He also served as an executive in the company’s Resort Development Group, where he focused on the company’s village real estate development, activities and resort acquisitions. Robert has extensive redevelopment experience, having served as the head of two public sector agencies, most recently as Executive Director of the Portland Development Commission. Robert sits on the Board of Directors or is an advisor to major Northwest organizations: University of Washington’s Real Estate Council, where he is a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Washington Real Estate School; the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, where he sits on the Executive Committee; TimberWest Forest Corporation, a Canadian public company; Henbart LLC, a subsidiary of the Bartell Drug Company; and Bastyr University, where he is a member of the Board of Trustees.
