Todd Hay
Biografía: Todd Hay, PE, CME, serves as Regional Vice President and is based in our Newark, NJ office. He is responsible for client service and business development efforts for Northern New Jersey, NYC/New York State, and New England. And manages the success and growth of the East Hanover, NJ; Newark, NJ; New York, NY; Stamford, CT; Natick, MA and Boston, MA staff and projects. Mr. Hay has been working with multi-disciplined engineering projects during his over 30-year career as a civil engineer, project manager, and principal. His work has included municipal and county transportation, water and wastewater utilities, traffic and recreation projects, K-12 projects, college/university, solar, and various private/public design and design-build projects within his region and NM. His work experience has included client contact and coordination; in-house review of site plan and subdivision projects for entitlement compliance; preparation and coordination of site plans and technical specifications for bidding purposes; preparation of site plans for entitlement submission; expert witness testimony before local, county and state authorities; contract administration and construction support services for both private and public projects. Currently, Mr. Hay serves as the appointed City, Planning and Zoning Board Engineer in the City of East Orange, NJ and the Township, Planning and Zoning Board Engineer in the Township of Nutley, NJ. Mr. Hay is also the appointed Board of Education Engineer for the Springfield Board of Education in Springfield, NJ. In addition, he has served over 30 municipalities, 10 counties, and 10 public school districts as an on-call engineer. He has served as principal-in-charge for private clients, including Toll Brothers City Living, Simon Properties, Hartz Mountain, and Verizon, as well as many high-profile architects. Also, Mr. Hay has been involved in high-profile design-build projects such as the design-build of the US Military Academy Preparatory School at West Point, NY, and the design and construction of Limited Ports of Entry (LPOEs) on the Canadian and Mexican Border. Mr. Hay has also been involved in litigation and court matters, serving as a design and construction expert witness representing construction contractors and the state of New Jersey, including the New Jersey Department of Transportation. Mr. Hay is an Industry Advisory Board Member to the School of Applied Engineering and Technology at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), an Advisory Board Member to the Civil Engineering Department at Temple University, and a Board Member to the Commerce Industry Association of NJ. He is a Board Member of ACE New Jersey as well as a Board Member of the non-profit Visions and Pathways for homeless youth in New Jersey. Mr. Hay is co-chair of the New Jersey Society of Municipal Engineers Annual Awards Program.
