Steven Johnson

Biografía: January 2004 Biography for Steven P Johnson I am an Architect and EVP with Gresham, Smith and Partners, a 700 person AE firm with 11 offices throughout the Southeast United States. I am the market leader for our firm-wide practice in Corporate Architecture and Urban Design with design studios in Nashville, Birmingham and Jacksonville that I manage. I have 26 years experience in the design of a wide range of project types with clients that are primarily private sector developers and end users of space. The projects range from high rise office, suburban office, mixed use urban infill, retail, and housing. I have been the principal of numerous projects that have won both peer design awards and recognition from the development and construction industry. I have a bachelor's degree (with Honors) in Architecture from Auburn University in Alabama. I have undertaken additional studies at the University of Tennessee in urban planning. I have lectured and provided design critiques at Auburn University, University of Tennessee and Mississippi State University. I am a past president of the Nashville chapter of AIA and sit on the board of the state of TN AIA. I am actively involved in both civic and charitable organizations including the chamber of commerce, boy scouts, and Easter Seals.
