Biografía:
Mark is a Program Manager within the North American Leasing team of IBM’s Real Estate Strategy and Operations. His territory spans the Northwestern US and Central Canada which comprises over 2.7M RSF and $25M in occupancy expense. In his primary role as Transaction Manager, he provides oversight for all leased, owned, subleased, and income properties within his territory. That includes a North American perspective on Transactions, where he serves as the primary Landlord interface for leasing, and all acquisition and disposition negotiations, and the point of quality control in terms of consistency for processes and procedures. Mark also acts as the Center of Excellence for IBM’s Alternative Occupancy Program, and in this capacity, serves as the single point of contact for all Serviced Office Provider relationships. This includes responsibility for its strategic direction, including policies and procedures, and the coordination of all activities, and metrics to support effective and value driven Alternative Occupancy strategies. Prior to joining IBM, Mark was with Jones Lange LaSalle in Corporate Solutions, driving Occupancy Strategies for their clients, DeVry Education, and before that with Bank of America managing Client Relationships where he was instrumental in the provision and integration of all corporate real estate services to the business. He had overall client accountability for leveraging all competencies, including strategic planning and development, portfolio planning, and the alignment of corporate real estate solutions with Enterprise objectives. This included the acquisition and disposition of all real estate including site selection, lease renewals, renegotiations, reconfiguration, optimization, expansion and relocation. Additionally, Mark has had a significant amount of experience within the financial services sector, holding various leadership roles within Corporate Real Estate at Bank of America, Harris Bank, and other mid-sized regional banks. In these roles Mark has successfully implemented companywide growth and acquisition initiatives, and has led the implementation of new operating standards, policies and procedures. He has demonstrated his depth by leading corporate-wide cross functional teams and has been instrumental in the development and integration of real estate strategies to optimize the overall occupancy contribution to the Enterprise. Mark earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and a BArch in Architecture from the University of Illinois Chicago. He is a licensed Architect and Interior Designer holds an MCR designation as an active member of Corenet Global and is an accredited LEED Green Associate. Directorio de miembros  Arrow
