Sarah King

Biografía: Sarah King is the Sustainability Director for Skanska USA Commercial Development where she works with project teams across the US to accelerate successful adoption of sustainable building technology & innovation into all stages of the commercial development process. She oversees sustainability efforts across all US office and multifamily development projects, including LEED®, Fitwel®, and other initiatives to drive progress on environmental, health, and social impact metrics. Prior to joining Skanska, for 10 years Sarah was a key member of the DuPont sustainability team, working to integrate sustainability in the corporate strategy to enhance business value and positive societal impact. Sarah also has experience championing sustainability from the NGO perspective – having worked for Climate Mayors, GLOBE USA, and the Environmental Law Institute. She holds a BA in economics from Carleton College and an MBA from The George Washington University School of Business and Public Management. Sarah is a LEED Green Associate, Fitwel Ambassador, serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Washington Net Impact Chapter, and is an Aspen Institute Catto Fellow and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
