David Lewis
Biografía: David R. Lewis Chairman Osprey Property Group Mr. Lewis began is education by earning a BSC degree with the focus on Engineering. Soon after he went on to study at Nova Scotia Technical College and earned an MSC degree in Engineering. Additional studies included participating as a Commonwealth Scholar in Canada and a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, Canada. Later, Mr. Lewis became a Regional development and Construction Manager for the ITT Corporation and Sheraton Hotel Groups. He represented Sheraton in the construction and development of major convention hotels in North America and the Pacific, including the 2,000 room Sheraton Waikiki and the 1,400 room Sheraton Four Seasons in Toronto, Canada. A series of opportunities through Oxford companies employed Mr. Lewis from 1971-1988. In 1971, He became President and COO for Oxford Development Enterprises, Inc. Then he became President and COO for Oxford Construction Services, Inc in 1973, coinciding with Oxford Management Company until 1988. And finally, from 1985-1988, he held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer with Oxford Retirement Services, Inc. From 1988-Present, Mr. Lewis' professional experience has been as President and CEO of Osprey Property Group, Osprey Investment Company and Osprey Realty Advisors, and Chairman of Habitat America, LLC while also having a Joint Venture with JCF Asset Management and Osprey Realty Advisors. As President and CEO of Osprey Investment Company, he has been actively engaged in the general management of a group of controlled partnerships specializing in Real Estate Asset Management and Capital Preservation, Recovery, and Enhancement. Memberships and Community Activities also play a large role in Mr. Lewis' professional life. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, a former member of the State of Maryland's Advisory Council for the Department of Community and Economic Development, a Chairman for the Trustees of Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts and a Board Member for both the Friends of Jefferson Patterson Park and The Annapolis Symphony.
