Antonio Marotta

Biografía: Antonio currently leads the Italian practice at Catalyst, working on projects in the field of ESG and sustainability for real assets. Specialising in both new developments and existing buildings, he operates across various sectors, including residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, educational, logistics, and data centres. Throughout his career, he has advised both owners—such as investment funds, developers, and asset managers—and occupiers. Antonio holds a PhD in Sustainability from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Master of Science in Building Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. He has published papers in top-tier journals on the impact of green buildings on sustainable development and on the forecasting of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in developed regions. A chartered engineer and a member of the Sustainability Council at ULI Europe, Antonio also holds several accreditations, including LEED AP, WELL AP, WiredScore AP, HPI Assessor, and Fitwel Ambassador.
