Biografía:
At Assembly we believe empowered urban property owners are the Housing Market Superheroes of the future. We help people self-solve their family housing needs through Assembly Products that are beautiful, simple, affordable, smart and salutogenic. We're beginning by helping owners of properties on the Avenues and Laneway Streets in the City of Toronto. Leith co-founded Assembly in 2018 to provide affordable housing solutions for urban families and allow them to self-solve their housing needs. Assembly\ creates as of right solutions and its products are panelised in a factory setting and delivered directly to the consumer for on-site assembly. Leith founded Waverley Projects Inc. in 2016 as a project management and development company focused on creative ground-oriented infill development and mid-rise transit-oriented development opportunities in the GTHA. Previously, as Senior Vice President Development, Leith led the diversification of the Fieldgate Homes Brand (2014-2016) into the mid-rise market with Fieldgate Urban. He was Vice President of Development for the Sorbara Group of Companies (1985-2014) and managed land development and servicing, low rise housing (Orchard Ridge Homes) and high-rise condominium housing (Sorbara Group) for the company. Leith is a graduate of the School of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Waterloo and continued his relationship with the school as an adjunct professor through 2016. He is also Past Chair of BILD, Past President of OHBA and Past Chair of Evergreen. Leith has served on two Provincial Advisory Panels – the Golden Panel (Transit Investment Advisory) and the Crombie Panel (Co-ordinated Land Use Planning Review).
