Matthew Putterman

Biografía: My name is Matthew Putterman, I am a Managing Director in the Houston office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas where I lead JLL’s National SFR/BTR Practice Group. I came to JLL through the acquisition of HFF and have twelve years of experience in real estate capital markets. I have completed capitalizations on a range of commercial property types, including single family rental, build to rent, multifamily, office, retail, mixed-use, industrial and hotel. In my role as the Group Leader of SFR/BTR with JLL Capital Markets, I am primarily responsible for originating debt & equity placement transactions and portfolio or community sales. Primarily domestically in the United States, although I also work with partners across the globe to identify opportunities and structures applicable to local (non-US) markets. I frequently participant in industry events, panels, and speaking roles, advocating on behalf of the Single-Family Rental and BTR sectors to grow awareness and draw new capital sources and operators/developers. The sector has evolved rapidly with capital structures and best-development-practices changing in real time.
