Tim Richey along with his partner Mike Winn, are considered the premier investment sales team in the Rocky Mountain Region and consistently recognized as one of the top brokerage teams in the country. As Vice Chairmen of the Capital Markets Group in CBRE’s Denver office, Mike Winn and Tim Richey offer over 50 years of combined investment sales experience. Their primary practice is to represent institutional investors in the disposition of significant office and retail properties throughout Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region. Prior to joining CBRE in 2014 as Vice Chairmen, Mr. Richey and his partner Mr. Winn spent sixteen years at Cushman & Wakefield in Denver. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield in 1998, Mr. Winn and Mr. Richey spent fourteen and seven years, respectively, at Grubb & Ellis where they first became partners. Throughout their 29-year partnership, Mike and Tim have been involved in over 60 million square feet of sales transactions, totaling over $14 billion. Their experience spans the sale and/or recapitalization of over 300 properties, including many of the region’s highest profile assets. Being the preeminent investment sales team in the Rocky Mountain Region, Tim Richey has set record pricing in multiple real estate cycles. His most notable downtown transactions include 17th Street Plaza, the AA trophy property 1801 California, the iconic Triangle Building, Uptown’s landmark 1670 Broadway, 1601 Wewatta, and the newly constructed 1401 Lawrence. Top suburban transactions include One Belleview Station, Granite Place at Village Station, ReMax Headquarters, and Village Center Station. Always working to garner the highest value for his clients, Mr. Richey has an average CBD office sale price of over $90 million and an average suburban office sale price of almost $30 million. Mr. Richey holds his Masters of Science in Business, Real Estate Appraisal, and Investment Analysis from the University of Wisconsin’s Real Estate Program and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado in architecture and planning. Mr. Richey is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Colorado and Utah, active member of ICSC, National Association of Industrial/Office Properties (NAIOP), and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
