Robert Sharpe has managed more than 50 real estate ventures, selling over 10,000 lots and thousands of acres of vacant land in the Tucson area. His current project, Rancho Sahuarita, began as approximately 3,000 acres of dormant land located south of Tucson. His vision was to create the most affordable, lifestyle-oriented community in the country and after 16 years, Rancho Sahuarita is now home to 18,000 residents, seven schools, 3 clubhouses, an aquatic center, parks, trails, commercial uses and numerous other amenities. Rancho Sahuarita was recognized by the ULI as one of 13 projects in the world that represented the best practices in terms of creating a healthy place, and in 2008 ABC News Nightline did a segment on Rancho Sahuarita as the “The Last American Boomtown.” That same year, Rancho Sahuarita was the number one best-selling community in Arizona, and the 5th best-selling community in the country. In 2014 Rancho Sahuarita was named the Project of the Decade in Southern Arizona by MPA and in 2015, the Town of Sahuarita, which Sharpe helped to incorporate in 1994, and Rancho Sahuarita were ranked #29 on Money magazine’s top 50 best places to live list. For 25 years Sharpe has been an active participant in ULI, as a trustee, council counselor, governor, program committee member and board member of ULI’s Arizona District Council. Sharpe also received the National Jewish Health Humanitarian Award in recognition of his civic and charitable contributions in August 2016. Directorio de miembros  Arrow
