Raymond Torto

Biografía: January 2004 Raymond G. Torto, Ph.D., CRE Principal & Managing Director Raymond Torto is a founding principal at Torto Wheaton Research (TWR). Dr. Torto's career spans the business, public, and academic sectors. He has been a Professor of Economics for 25 years at the University of Massachusetts and has held policy and line management positions in the state and local governments of Massachusetts. The author of five books and numerous articles on financial markets and tax policy, he holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Boston College. Dr. Torto is active in state and national organizations. He is a Chairman of the New England Chapter of Real Estate Counselors, on the board of directors of the National Real Estate Institute, a member of Urban Land Institute, and is on several other corporate boards, as well as being involved with multiple civic organizations in Boston.
