Biographie :
Jen Boss Executive Vice President Jen serves as portfolio manager for two of the firm’s separate account clients. Previously she served in Heitman’s research group tracking the retail and student housing sectors. As a research specialist, Jennifer was involved across the lifecycle of an investment—from creation of an initial investment strategy to hold/sell analysis. Her work included on-the-ground market work for potential acquisitions and ongoing support for asset management teams. In retail, this often included feasibility analysis of proposed expansions and renovations, as well as impact studies forecasting the effect of new competition on an asset’s sales, rents and vacancy levels. Jennifer also served on Heitman’s valuation and investment committee for retail and student housing assets, with a focus on tracking investment sales and lending patterns to help establish appropriate valuation metrics. Jennifer received a BS in Urban Geography from the University of Iowa and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Jennifer is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the ULI Commercial and Retail Gold Council.
