Founded in 2006, URG’s current portfolio of work – including investment, property and construction management, as well as development and asset management assignments – totals 2.3 million square feet. My personal real estate investment transaction experience totals over $1.5 billion of direct responsibility since 1990. Greater Vitality A Mix of Uses Metzler North America (2005 to 2008) Chief Investment Officer Metzler North America has approximately $2.5 billion under management and is a wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary of Frankfurt-based Bankhaus Metzler, one of Germany’s oldest private investment banks. Unico Properties (1996 to 2004) Senior Vice President Investments Unico Properties is a Seattle-based real estate investment and operating company that owns and operates nearly nine million square feet of office and multi-family properties in the western United States. Background Began professional career in 1982 at Touche Ross (Deloitte) as a certified public accountant on the audit staff. In 1987 joined Deloitte client Shurgard Storage to manage and grow the San Francisco region, through both acquisitions and development. In 1990 joined Seattle-based Norman Company as part of a boutique investment brokerage and advisory team focused on urban office properties and development land. Unico was a client of Norman Company, leading to the opportunity to join Unico in 1996.
