Robert Busler

Biographie : Updated 3/04 Mr. Busler serves as Strategic Planning and Business Development Principal with WDG Architecture, PLLC. He has over 20 years of design, business development, project management and practice management experience. As Principal, Mr. Busler is responsible for the strategic direction of the firm, as well as business development initiatives in support of the firm's strategic plan. He develops and directs the implementation of new market strategies, and focuses on WDG's organizational structure and systems refinement to enhance quality of design and promote firm growth. As an architect, Mr. Busler has been responsible for over eight billion dollars worth of construction in the United States, Europe and the Pacific Rim. The projects for which he has been responsible have included airports, federal agency headquarters, corporate headquarters, urban and suburban investment office buildings, hotels and sports facilities. In addition to his recent project design and office management experience, Mr. Busler has won numerous architectural design awards in the United States, Europe and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining WDG, Mr. Busler spent nine years as Vice President and Director of Architecture in the National Capital office of HNTB. Mr. Busler also spent 13 years as an Associate Partner with Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, PC (KPF) of New York City, NY, and Principal-in Charge of KPF's Southeast Asian office located in Sydney, Australia.
