Brian Carlock

Biographie : Brian Carlock serves in several capacities at Hillwood Communities. He oversees acquisitions and new investments, operates as the market manager for the company's communities in Central Texas (Austin and San Antonio) and manages multiple investments in the Southeast and Northwest United States. Carlock has played a key role over the past 18 years in making Hillwood Communities one of the top residential developers in the country. His diverse background and technical expertise allow him to effectively manage many aspects of residential community development, including site selection, planning, engineering, marketing, home builder relations, financial analysis, government relations, entitlements, partnership structuring and securing financing. It also allows him to productively evaluate and acquire many of the most intriguing investment opportunities related to residential real estate. As the director of acquisitions, he has managed over $120M of new capital investments over the past four years. Since joining Hillwood in 2000, Carlock has successfully managed the development of over 5,000 lots in multiple markets. Before serving as an officer in the U.S. Army for seven years, Carlock graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, where he received his Bachelor's degree in Engineering Management. He later earned his Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla.
