Julie Currier
Biographie : Julie Currier joined Unico over 18 years ago and is Vice President, Development for Unico Properties. As part of her role, Julie oversees ground up development and large scale renovation/rehab projects in various markets that Unico is located across the country. Currently she is working on a ground up mixed-use development in Denver, Colorado; a historic building renewal project to convert a 1928 office building to apartments in Tacoma, WA and a redevelopment in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her most recent completed projects include: leading the team from acquisition through stabilization on the development of NV, a 27 story 284 unit multifamily asset in Portland's Pearl District neighborhood and Slate Apartments & Lofts, a 236-unit multifamily asset in Seattle’s up and coming Interbay neighborhood. In addition, she oversaw numerous diverse development and improvement projects including King County’s Election Facility, Seattle’s Russell Hall mixed-use development in the University District of Seattle the redevelopment of Russell Investments Center (formerly WAMU headquarters), and a medical office building on a hospital campus in Tacoma. With over 25 years of real estate, development and construction experience, Julie brings a fresh approach to every project with her knowledge of leasing, operational and property management experience from her role as General Manager for Unico’s Tacoma office portfolio. Prior to joining Unico, Julie was the Northwest Regional Director of Real Estate and Development for Catholic Health Initiatives, a nationwide integrated hospital system. Her role included land acquisition and development of hospital and medical office projects. Julie has most recently focused her education on development and construction management specifically, is a member of NAIOP and BOMA, and holds a Washington State Real Estate Brokers license.
