Matt Griffin

Biographie : Matt Griffin joined Kilroy Realty Corporation in 2017 as Senior Vice President of Northern California. Mr. Griffin oversees all operations within the region; his emphasis is on leasing, marketing and business development within Kilroy’s stabilized portfolio and development projects. He is also responsible for identifying new opportunities and expanding the company’s footprint in the Greater Bay Area. Mr. Griffin has nearly two decades of Bay Area commercial real estate experience, with an extensive background in San Francisco office leasing. Prior to joining Kilroy, he spent the majority of his career at global real estate firms Cushman & Wakefield and JLL; most recently serving as Managing Director with the latter. During his tenure at JLL, he executed innovative marketing/repositioning campaigns and provided extensive underwriting for acquisition targets. Additionally, he leveraged his expertise in lease negotiation and sublease disposition across a myriad of industries, ranging from technology and telecom to financial services and law firms. Mr. Griffin’s focus was representing institutional-grade office projects on behalf of some of the largest national and international commercial real estate investors and ultimately oversaw more than 3.8 million square feet of lease transactions on behalf of his clients. Mr. Griffin holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of the Pacific and is a member of the San Francisco Chapter of NAIOP. Mr. Griffin is a founding board member of LaMorinda Gives Back, a local non-profit serving those in need in Contra Costa County. Mr. Griffin resides in Lafayette, CA with his wife and two young children. In their spare time, the Griffins enjoy travel, skiing, golf and just about anything in the outdoors.
