Keith Harris
Biographie : Mr. Harris is Executive Vice President of Avanath Capital Management responsible for the Acquisitions and Capital Markets programs looking to acquire affordable, workforce, and value-oriented apartment communities across the U.S. Mr. Harris is also a Principal of CKG Advisors LLC, an investment and advisory firm focused on the multi-family industry. Prior to CKG, Mr. Harris was Senior Vice President of the Bozzuto Group responsible for institutional capital raising and client relations. Mr. Harris spent 14 years at The Laramar Group, most recently as Chief Investment Officer responsible for the firm’s property investments and client capital management. As the CIO, Mr. Harris managed acquisition and disposition activity, capital raising, client relations and portfolio management. During Mr. Harris’ tenure at Laramar, he was responsible for investment transactions for more than 30,000 apartment units valued at approximately $3.0 billion. Mr. Harris also spent 12 years with Heitman Capital Management and JMB Realty Corporation as Senior Vice President. At Heitman/JMB, Mr. Harris managed the disposition of over $2.9 billion of real estate representing over 28,000 apartment units and more than 7.5 million square feet of office, industrial and retail properties. Mr. Harris also acquired or made joint-venture investments in more than $165 million of apartment and office properties. Prior to Heitman/JMB, Mr. Harris was with The Balcor Company. Mr. Harris’ more than 30 years of experience in real estate includes acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, lending, property management and partnership structuring. Mr. Harris is a member of the National Multi-Family Housing Council (NMHC), a vice chair of the Multi-Family Green Council of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), a member of PREA and immediate past chairman of the Board of Directors of the not-for-profit, Over the Rainbow Association. Mr. Harris has a B.A. degree in Economics from Carleton College.
