Martin Hoffey

Biographie : Marty has spent his entire career in the Construction Industry, starting and spending 10 years in Los Angeles and the past 21 years in Kansas City. Currently the Director of Business Development with MW Builders, an employee owned national general contractor, Marty is a member of the management team which leads the day to day operations as well as the growth efforts of the company. MW Builders employees 200 individuals and is the general contractor for many high profile multifamily, hospitality, light industrial, school district, student housing and senior housing projects. Marty has also served as Vice President of Weitz Golf International, which was one of the largest golf course construction companies in the nation. Current position includes a seat on the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Senior Housing Council as well as the Board of Directors for a local Kansas City charity. Past community work includes involvement with the United Way capital campaigns. Marty holds an Engineering degree from Iowa State University and resides in Olathe with his wife, Sonia. Marty and Sonia are proud parents of four children. Marty is an avid golfer and donates his time coaching youth sports.
