Sherena Hussain
Biographie : Sherena Hussain is an accomplished business and legal professional in the area of sustainable infrastructure, business model transformation, public-private partnerships, contracts, public management and transaction financing. She is an academic in real estate and infrastructure, including serving as the Academic Director of the prestigious G7 Sustainable Infrastructure Fellowship Program and member at the Brookfield Centre in Real Estate and Infrastructure at the Schulich School of Business, York University. She practiced law at McCarthy Tétrault LLP, and has worked on numerous complex infrastructure and commercial real estate globally. In addition, she has worked at Infrastructure Ontario, facilitating the procurement and delivery of infrastructure projects using different forms of financing, including the use of Public-Private-Partnerships. Sherena is the founder of Academic Collaboration Consulting, a global advisory firm that uses leading research and best practices to address pressing real estate and infrastructure challenges and to develop best-in-class up-skilling programs for organizations, with a focus on net zero solutions. Recent upskilling programs relate to transit asset management, electric vehicle infrastructure and charging monetization, hydrogen deployment, data management, governance and privacy regulation for public transport agencies and industry organizations including CUTA, COP, Global Sustainability Electricity Partnership, Hydrogen Village, ULI Toronto's Mentorship Committee and UITP. In addition to her government advisory roles, she is an advisory academic to C40 Financing Sustainable Cities and Clean Bus Finance Academy, Global Infrastructure Hub (a G20 initiative), and the Sustainable Infrastructure Foundation.
