Biographie :
Juan Carlos Loveluck is Deputy Director, Real Estate Development within Real Estate and Asset Management (REAM) Department of the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport). Juan Carlos has been a member of Massport’s real estate team for over 20 years in various capacities, and was involved in the original master planning and permitting for the planned build-out of Massport’s South Boston properties for over 6 million square feet of mixed-use development in the area known as Commonwealth Flats, and the coordination of this development with the Central Artery/Tunnel project and the MBTA’s Silver Line project. During his tenure at Massport, Juan Carlos has overseen a number of Massport’s ground leases and development review process for number of commercial and residential development projects, including many of which were for development projects that helped to define the first wave of development in the early 2000s in the area now commonly referred to as Boston’s Seaport District. Juan Carlos has been involved in developer selection, negotiating ground leases and served as Massport’s project manager for the John Hancock Company (Manulife Financial) building, Park Lane Seaport Apartments, the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel, Waterside Place, and the “Parcel K” mixed-used development currently under construction. Prior to joining Massport, Juan Carlos worked at Berkshire Mortgage Finance where he was involved in the underwriting Fannie Mae DUS loans for multifamily properties. Previously, he worked at the Boston Redevelopment Authority (now BPDA) in the review, approval, and financial analysis of development projects within the City of Boston.
