EXPERIENCE Crescent Resources, LLC – Mid Atlantic Office, Arlington, VA September 2002 to present Marketing Specialist / Assistant Project Manager at Potomac Yard - Assist Potomac Yard team in major land sales at Potomac Yard totaling over $150 million in 2003 and 2004. Prepare all due diligence materials, evaluate offers and assist buyers in all closings. Sales include five separate land sales and the sale of the Potomac Yard Retail Center. - Assist Potomac Yard team to execute the largest GSA lease in 2004; the GSA signed a lease for 405,000sf for the Environmental Protection Agency. Collaborated with team members to respond to the Solicitation for Offer, a Best and Final Bid, and signing of the lease. - Coordinate the development of the 650,000sf+ office project, One and Two Potomac Yard. Work with the General Contractor, engineers, architects, the lessee (the General Services Administration), the tenant (the US Environmental Protection Agency), and Arlington County to construct an environmentally sustainable, office building that meets the USGBC’s requirements for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver Certification. Responsible for keeping record of all meetings, correspondence, construction change bulletins, change orders, change order requests and correspondence between the design team, contractor, government and Crescent. Other duties include lease negotiation with GSA, management of LEED Certification with consultants, and all negotiations with Arlington County. Coordinate meetings for 45 or more people on a weekly basis. - Coordinate master planning and development of Potomac Yard. Develop and maintain relationships with Arlington County staff through Planning and Zoning process. Obtain approval of site plans, Comprehensive Sign Plan, Public Art Plan, and changes made to the building and project at administrative level. - Responsible for all marketing of Potomac Yard and Crescent Resources in the Washington DC Area. Create presentations, marketing plans, and plan events. Develop brochures, flyers, and direct mail pieces to represent the project and company. - Represent Crescent Resources and Potomac Yard at all community and industry events; such as Northern Virginia NAIOP, the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, United States Green Building Council’s National Capitol Region Chapter (USGBC-NCR), Urban Land Institute (ULI) Washington and CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women). - Attend all events and volunteer on various committees for these organizations; including NAIOP Awards Committee (2004), Steering Committee for the Arlington Real Estate Bus Tour 2004 and 2006, and the Development Committee Chair for the Arlington Chamber of Commerce in 2004 and 2005. - Act as Human Resources and IT contact for the Mid Atlantic Region; interface with Crescent headquarters and top executives to coordinate meetings and visits as well as health and safety for the office.
