Biographie : RAQUEL RAMATI PRESIDENT (2/15/02) Raquel Ramati is the owner and president of Raquel Ramati Associates Inc. She has earned an international reputation as an urban designer and planner- first in New York City's government, and later as a private consultant working with developers, government agencies, non-profit organizations and community groups. In the last five years, Raquel Ramati Associates expanded to include an international department that specializes in Architecture and Planning. In the last twenty years Raquel Ramati has developed feasibility studies for New York's major developers, banks, and government. She has designed master-plans for various parts of the city and acted as a development consultant in site selection, zoning, design guidelines, processing, space and architectural planning. Some of the firm's international projects include consulting on a major retail project in Warsaw, Poland, and urban design projects in Israel. Currently the firm is working on a million square feet Biotechnology Center master plan for Teva Pharmaceutical Company. The Teva Headquarter plan includes two high rise office towers, R &D laboratories and a community Park. Raquel Ramati is currently designing a master-plan for a joint venture between the municipality and private developers in Hadera, Israel. The plan includes a City Center, a Public Square, offices, retail, and housing. Raquel Ramati acted as the Urban Design consultant for the State of Israel in the planning of Government Centers in six major cities. In that capacity she prepared design guidelines as basis for the entire project, which includes The Prime Minister's headquarters and a Foreign Ministry building. Before forming her own consulting firm, Ms. Ramati was the Director of the trend-setting Urban Design Group at the New York City Department of City Planning and the chief architect of Manhattan. In that capacity, she was in charge of reviewing major real estate projects, creating
