Janet Pogue McLaurin

Biographie : Janet Pogue McLaurin is a global leader of Gensler’s Workplace Sector, with a particular focus on corporate headquarters projects. During her time at Gensler, Janet has been instrumental in leading Gensler’s workplace research including the 2006, 2008, 2013, 2016, and 2019 U.S. Workplace Survey, and developing Gensler’s Workplace Performance Index tool, which measures workplace effectiveness for Gensler projects. Janet takes an active role on key projects across the firm. She is responsible for developing workplace strategy, conducting mobility studies, and designing innovative workplace environments for a wide variety of clients in both government and private sector industries, including energy, financial, consulting and technology. Clients include the IMF, GSA, Capital One, CEB, Caterpillar, Gallup, and 3M. Janet, a Principal at Gensler, has spent over 30 years in both the Denver and Washington, DC offices. Janet is a sought after media spokesperson and frequent speaker. She has shared her workplace expertise and research with top media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, BBC, Entrepreneur, NPR, Business Talk radio and many global architecture and design trade publications. Janet has spoken at many premier conferences and/or industry meetings, including CoreNet Global, IFMA World Workplace, NAIOP, ULI, Harvard LILA, and SXSW.
