Scott Pollack

Biographie : Scott Pollack is a retired principal from Boston based architecture and planning firm Arrowstreet, he led a range of large scale planning and architectural projects for over 35 years, including master planning, housing, retail, hospitality and commercial life sciences. He oversaw planning and innovation projects for the National Park Service, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Army Corps of Engineers as well as the Departments of the Air Force, Army and Marines. Besides working as a non-profit board member supporting Community Development Corporations, Scott continues to consult on planning approaches that start with people rather than facilities. Scott helps clients efficiently deploy capital resources to achieve the greatest impact by understanding constraints, uncovering opportunities and designing innovative ways to get people what they need, where and when they need it. He is part of a network of experts that, from digital ethnography to mapping and data visualization, are working to expand planning’s speed and capabilities.
