Andrew Weir

Biographie : Andrew Weir is a Senior Managing Director in the Washington, DC office of HFF. Mr. Weir joined the Firm in 2004 and has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience. Mr. Weir specializes in the sale, finance and recapitalization of office properties and portfolios in the Washington, DC Metro. Since 2004, Mr. Weir has successfully executed over 50 sale and recapitalization transactions representing over $10.0 billion of value. Mr. Weir has been involved in some of the Region’s most significant transactions, including the disposition of the Washington portfolios of CarrAmerica and Equity Office Properties on behalf of the Blackstone Group. Additionally, Mr. Weir oversees the financial analysis and market research support staff for all of the group's transactions. Prior to joining HFF, Mr. Weir was a Vice President with CarrAmerica Realty Corporation. Mr. Weir is also a founding member of HFF’s Global Capital Team, which is focused on tracking and accessing foreign capital seeking investment opportunities for debt and equity in the U.S. The Team, comprised of senior transactional professionals from around the U.S., represents all major HFF platform services, including private equity, investment sales, debt placement and structured finance. HFF’s global reach allows the Firm to serve the needs of its clients by accessing the most attractive capital from around the world.
