Biographie :
As Co-CEO of Republic Property Group (RPG), Jake Wagner is charged with leading the 50- year-old private company’s strategy and vision for development of large-scale communities, which provide a meaningful impact to residents and surrounding regions. He currently oversees RPG projects with a projected collective assessed value of more than $4.5 billion, which, at full build-out will house more than 70,000 people. Villas at Legacy is a high-density infill neighborhood located in the Legacy West mixed use project, containing the corporate headquarters for Toyota, JC Penny, State Farm and Liberty Mutual. RPG’s Phillips Creek Ranch and Light Farms have consistently ranked as two of the top 25 best-selling master-planned communities in the nation. More recently, RPG is developing Walsh, a 7,200-acre project that is among the largest developments in the nation. Walsh is on the forefront of technology infrastructure where Wagner was instrumental in structuring and implementing a fiber network delivering 2 gigabit internet speeds–the fastest speeds in Texas–as a standard, with access for businesses or homeowners to upgrade to 10 gigabit connectivity, the world’s fastest. RPG formed a private telecom company to act as the sole internet service provider to the project. Wagner is also co-founder of Insight Association Management, a property management company focused on operations and maintenance for large scale projects. Since its formation in 2012, Insight has grown from one to 13 projects and now oversees more than 22,000 current and future home sites. During his 11 years at RPG, Wagner has had an active role in acquisitions, builder relations, government approvals, financing and project management. Prior to joining RPG, Wagner worked in land brokerage at Landmark Interests. Wagner was named to Urban Land Institute’s 2016 list of global “40 under 40” leaders and recognized by DCEO magazine as the 2016 Single Family Developer of the Year. Wagner also serves on the Alumni Board for St. Mark’s School of Texas and with the Alumni Association for Texas Cowboys, a nonprofit organization focused on supporting philanthropic and service endeavors among University of Texas alumni.
