Mary Burkholder

バイオグラフィー：Mary Burkholder is a Principal with BAE Urban Economics. From her office in Washington, DC she leads the Mid-Atlantic practice of BAE, an urban economics consulting firm based in Berkeley, California. She has 25 years of experience in economic and community development in the public, private and non-profit sectors. Prior to joining BAE in 2017, she served as Senior Vice President of the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation, responsible for business development in the agency. Other positions across her career include Senior Vice President for Housing and Economic Development at the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), Director of the Maryland Community Development Administration (Maryland's housing finance agency), Senior Associate with ZHA, Inc. (an urban economics consulting firm based in Annapolis MD), Deputy Director of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Community Affairs, and Assistant Secretary of Marketing for the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development. Ms. Burkholder has both a Master of Community Planning (MCP) degree and a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts (AB) degree from the University of Michigan. She is a past president of the Maryland Economic Development Association and serves on the Anne Arundel County Food Bank Board of Directors.
