Sean Blake
バイオグラフィー:Sean Blake is a Red Seal Carpenter with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. With expertise in formwork, rough and finish carpentry, he has worked for contractors like Buttcon, Harbridge + Cross, and Carillion Canada on major projects including phase one of the Union Station Revitalization Project, Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Station, as well as numerous construction projects at hospitals and universities. As a Business Representative for Local 27 with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, he oversees collective agreements and fosters relationships with union contractors and new companies under the Carpenters’ Regional Council. Blake is a member of the Local 27 Equity Committee and the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists, advocating for the participation of Black, Indigenous and Equity seeking Groups in unions and communities. Blake also participates in three City of Toronto workforce development Ad Hoc Working Groups. As a mentor with the Toronto Community Benefits Network and a Board and Associate Member of the Urban Land Institute, he remains committed to supporting future tradespeople and shaping the built environment. In his free time, Blake enjoys cycling and jogging to stay active.
