Amy Korte
バイオグラフィー:Amy Korté is an architect and President of Arrowstreet, an architecture, planning, and interior design firm based in Boston. She leads the design of Arrowstreet’s large-scaled mixed-use, commercial and infrastructure projects with a focus on how shifts in technology and emerging social trends impact cities and buildings. Amy is the co-founder of “AIR”(Arrowstreet Innovation and Research), a series of research and development incubators, which range from mixed reality and responsive environments to mobility and mass customization. She has been featured in Curbed, PCmag, Fast Company and Wired and has spoken on panels nationwide including AR in Action, Founder’s Forum, Urbanism Next, CREW, NAIOP, MIT, Boston VR Meet Up and Hubweek. Amy received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Environmental Design from Parsons New School for Design and her Masters of Architecture at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. She started her career at a venture capital funded start-up that was launched by Harvard Business and Design School students. Her work there focused on inserting small-format retail stores into shopping center parking lots, capitalizing on overbuilt parking spaces to improve the walkability of suburbs with micro shopping and dining experiences. She joined Arrowstreet in 2007 and helped diversify the firm’s work by growing the residential, mixed-use and infrastructure practices while also analyzing how climate change impacts cities and buildings. Amy has taught classes on architecture at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Boston Architectural College, and Suffolk University.
