Silvia Urrutia
バイオグラフィー:Silvia Urrutia Founder U Developing, LLC Before establishing her consulting firm, Ms. Urrutia served as the Director of Housing and Healthcare at Raza Development Fund ("RDF") where she led the company’s vision and strategic planning in those sectors, oversaw Business Development, Client Relations and Financing nationwide, and managed RDF’s $20 million sustainable communities fund in the Phoenix metro area. Ms. Urrutia has extensive knowledge of community development and her experience includes: financing of affordable housing, healthcare facilities and charter schools; providing technical assistance; planning and developing mixed-income, mixed-finance projects; and utilizing collaborative leadership to revitalize neighborhoods. With experience in the public and private sectors, Ms. Urrutia has participated in numerous community development activities in Arizona and Massachusetts, and has served in rezoning and comprehensive community initiatives to improve the quality of life and create communities that are inclusive and responsive to present and future community members. Ms. Urrutia Co-founded the Arizona Housing Alliance, a statewide organization to support affordable housing. She serves on the steering committee of the Partnership for Healthy Communities, and had appointments to serve on the Complete Streets Advisory Board, and the Choice Neighborhoods Housing Action Team in the city of Phoenix. Ms. Urrutia conducted a series of seminars and wrote a report for the Stardust Center for Affordable Homes and the Family at Arizona State University. She served as the co-chair of ULI Arizona's Task Force on Housing, Health and Equity, and is the co-chair in the Local Products Council on Multifamily housing. Ms. Urrutia holds a Bachelor degree from Arizona State University, a Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law, and has completed courses at Harvard’s Business School and Graduate School of Design.
