Diana Bustos

Biography: Hello fellow ULI members! My name is Diana Bustos, and I’m proud to be part of the Housing and Real Estate Development team at Community HousingWorks, where I help advance affordable housing projects that support San Diego’s vibrant and diverse communities. With a background in project management and community development, I bring a multidisciplinary lens to the built environment—combining technical expertise with a deep commitment to social impact. I hold a professional certificate in Project Management from SDSU Global Campus and have several years of experience managing teams, overseeing development initiatives, and coordinating complex projects from pre-development through closeout. I’m also a commissioned Notary Public and continue to explore ways to support housing efforts across sectors. Outside of work, I serve on the board of directors for the Media Arts Center San Diego (MACSD) and am actively involved with other built environment organizations. I’m a San Diego native, proud mom to an energetic little boy named Logan, and always on the lookout for new ways to enjoy the outdoors and discover local eats. I joined ULI to grow alongside a network of passionate professionals and contribute to the future of equitable development in our region. I’m excited for the collaboration, learning, and leadership opportunities ahead!
