Arevalo is the Managing Principal and founder of Urban Terra and is responsible for the overall operations and management of Urban Terra’s real estate development and consulting services. Darrell founded Urban Terra with the mission to develop human environments that inspire connection and evoke a sense of wonder by merging thoughtful innovation with optimal utility. Prior to founding Urban Terra in 2021, Darrell was the Managing Director of Development & Construction at Turnbridge Equities, a vertically integrated real estate investment and development firm headquartered in New York City with holdings in excess of 13.5 million square feet. Darrell was actively involved in all areas of the firm’s acquisition and new development activities in Austin, Texas. Prior to joining Turnbridge in 2018, Darrell spent over 20 years acquiring leading industry expertise with numerous companies in domestic marketplaces. He is a facilitator and builder of world-class construction projects and teams, with a specialty in infrastructure & heavy construction, hospitality, high rise multifamily & mixed-use commercial ground-up, historic renovation, and creative adaptive reuse. Proven networking skills, building fruitful partnerships with prominent clients, and delivering multimillion-dollar bottom-line growth to the AEC and CRE industries. Darrell holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and is fluent in Spanish.
