Federica Brignone
传:Born in Milan, Italy, on July 14, 1990, to dad Daniele (ski instructor and coach) and mom Maria Rosa Quario (former World Cup athlete, journalist). Her dream has always been to be a complete, versatile skier, and she achieved it in the 2019/2020 season, the best of her career, where she broke every record by winning the much-desired and well-deserved overall World Cup. In the 2021/2022 season, he won two Olympic medals in Beijing (bronze in combined and silver in giant slalom) and the specialty World Cup in super giant. Her recent challenge was the World Championships in Meribél - France where she won gold in combined and silver in giant slalom, equaling the number of medals (both Olympic and world) won by the two Italian skiing legends Isolde Kostner and Deborah Compagnoni. In the current season, she has reached her 69th World Cup podium, second in number in Italy only to Alberto Tomba. Environmentally conscious since childhood, she kicked off her sustainability project “Liquid Trajectories” in 2017 to raise awareness of environmental issues, from melting glaciers to water pollution. She is a member of the Carabinieri military sport group. She loves and follows all sports and has always been an AC Milan fan.
